- 10 large dates , pitted
- 1½ cups raw almonds
- 1 1 cup chocolate chips , I used Enjoy Life ones
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ cup coconut flour
- 5 – 10 drops peppermint oil, (start at the lower amount and work your way up. Don’t forget to taste along the way!)
- 2 tablespoons water
Also, I have useen Wild Orange essential oil in place of peppermint. Yum!
Put the almonds in a food processor and blend away, until a flour consistency forms.
Add the dates, coconut flour, peppermint, and cocoa and process again until well mixed up!
Add the peppermin essential oil and the water.
Process until well combined.
Taste a tiny bit and add more peppermint if required.
Remove the blade and form the dough into balls. You can make them whatever size you prefer. Mine were about a Tablespoon each.
